Do you work with any employees, freelancers, or contractors?

I pay someone to watch the books and do general admin tasks such as emailing invoices etc. This could easily be taken care of by the business owner - I just dont have the patience for it.

Why should someone buy this store?

This is a great opportunity to buy into an established ergonomic equipment supplier that is dominating the online advertising space in this category. The standing desk industry is taking off in Australia right now and our business has seen major growth (more than 100% year on year growth for the past 3 years). Most major businesses and government organisations are implementing some sort of standing desk option and our business caters easily to these organisations. You are well supported by local suppliers and a competent 3PL company. All the hard work has been done. Our mailing list is highly engaged and consists only of previous customers who regularly re-order when we send out our monthly EDMs.

How can the future owner improve the business?

*Facebook advertising (hardly been touched) *Upgrade to a premium, mobile responsive Shopify theme to capture more mobile traffic *Purchase targeted email marketing lists to add to monthly EDM *Offer an equipment trial program, *Advertising ergonomic chairs. Chairs are a big business opportunity that we haven't fully pursued yet, as we have been on the back foot reacting to demand for our sit stand desks. The chairs we do sell are mostly from organic search, sales could be greatly improved with a sophisticated adwords campaign, or targeting existing desk customers.

What work have you put into the store?

I have built this store up from the ground over the course of 5 years. I've been working on it full time over the past 1.5 years, adding content, streamlining and automating as much as possible. Now all that is required is purchase orders to drop ship suppliers, dispatch requests to 3PL and answering the occasional customer enquiry. Approx 4 hrs work per day. Selling to focus on my next venture.
