How does the business generate revenue?
Our monthly costs are $40USD, we have broken even every month for the last 7 months in a row, with each months profits increasing. To achieve this, we have dropshipping items such as the Mini Projector & the iPad "lazy" stand, and through repetitive sales of the EDP's.
Are there any expenses for ASA?
The biggest expense for Aperture Science Australia is the purchasing of powerbanks, which is a small investment that is remade throughout the following months through profit per purchase.
What marketing initiatives have been used for ASA?
As stated above, our main marketing has been a high SEO, along with Facebook marketing. I have also had customers email me telling me that they got referred by a friend who used/was using an EDP.
I never had time, or single initiative, to market the Emergency Disposable Powerbanks to general stores such as 7/11. Though selling very well online, the EDP definitely has big potential in stores, where a consumer who doesn't want to buy a $20 reusable powerbank can purchase the approx. $5 EDP.
Our remaining 91 (out of our second batch of 250) Emergency Disposable Powerbanks. All branded with the Aperture Science Australia logo on the device, along with both sides of the packaging. Devices will be shipped out in a compact box after acquisition.

Loyal, recurring customers that buy from us regularly, often in bulk. Regular website traffic from SEO, occasional traffic boosts coming from Facebook advertising. (We did not publicly offer discounts for buying in bulk, however, some of our more loyal customers have emailed us and made mutual agreements to arrange for one off deals)

What is required to keep the business operational?
Our costs are simply down to our Shopify membership, which is a standard flat rate of $30USD/month, along with the four addresses $130AUD/year, broken down to $15AUD/month.
