General description

I started the business in 2013, however relaunched at the end of 2016. The story behind the decision was a merging of three factors; 1). I wanted others to benefit from the powerful pain releif Id discovered, simply by taking a bath. 2). There was a real need on our community for funding, to help keep the doors open to the crisis accomodation/shelters, for women and children fleeing domestic violence. I donate funds to this cause. 3). I was keen to help create work for people living with a disability. they package all of my products. Inluded in the sale is the domain name, shopify website, the social media accounts and the product formulations. I make all the products myself, they are packaged offsite and 90% the inventrory is held both offsite, 10% is held my be. I do not dropship. The past 4 years have been spent creating awareness of the brand, educating consumers on the benefits of transdermal magnesium and the need for an alternative to synthetic supplements. To build the customer database, Ive held competitions, created a loyal following of custoemrs with a high percentage of repeat purchases. In temrs of advertising, it is an expensive exercise which rarely delivers a ROI, I have therefore taken a print media campaign only the once, it was moderately successful. The majority of marketing is done via "dark posting" on Facebook. I recently attended a Gift Fair/Expo and won the category for "Best New Talent" My customer database is ok, with close 1000. Due to ever limiting time, it has been another area I have not applied the attention it deserves to grow it. The potential for international trade is phenominal, again I do not have the time to develop it.

I am very proud of the business Ive created, and it is really only at the beginning of its growth, however it requires more time than I have to grow. I am a single mother with a young daughter that never sees me, I want to spend time with her and she deserves a mother that is around for her.
