Most people cannot afford to constantly buy designer brands and the cheap ones are always breaking.

That was back in 2014. It has now reached $95 billion in 2016 and will reach $142 billion by 2020, with the market majority being in North America (where we do 93% of our sales).

This leaves a HUGE market opportunity in a multi-billion dollar industry. And it’s growing at an insane rate of 5.85% Year-over-year, according to Technavio.

Five years ago, Cali Trend set out to bring Cool, Comfortable, California sunglasses of only the latest styles while keeping the price nice and low. This allows people to keep the style and save the money. It also takes the risk away of losing or breaking your sunglasses as you'd be out $30 instead of $300.

Being exposed to California's lifestyle, we saw sunglasses as the key to unlocking self-expression through vibrant lenses and unique styles which cultivated California's culture, lifestyle, and fashion into one element of design.

Over the past five years, Cali Trend has become a top tier sunglass brand based out of San Diego, California. We have distributed our sunglasses across the US and to customers in over 40 countries, teamed up with hundreds of professional photographers who've helped capture California's culture with our sunglasses, worked with numerous employees who've helped build different aspects of the business, and have constantly expanded our brand recognition by sponsoring countless athletes like our Brazilian kiteboarder @carol___dantas, and events like Playboy Golf and Skate Expo 2013.

At first glance, it can seem like a pretty saturated niche. We differentiate ourselves by being a California lifestyle brand with mid-tier but affordable prices.
