Desire Wear is an online drop shipping store which offers trendy female and male clothing with sales in 41 countries worldwide. Having comprehensive knowledge of Instagram marketing, we decided to experiment with a new source of revenue. Therefore in September of 2016 we branched out into website sales. Needless to say, Desire Wear blew up to what it has become today, a successful internet clothing store with a massive social media following. With industry leading advertising and products that our audience loves, our store has grown very quickly. Today Desire Wear is one of the top businesses on Instagram in e-commerce.
Desire Wear has a strong social following totaling over 800,000 people, predominantly on Instagram. This audience fuels constant activity on the website and engages consistently with new content and promotions. Without advertising, Desire Wear regularly receives traffic of 1200+ visitors daily which is significantly supported by traffic our Instagram page draws in and content posted on the Instagram page alone.
The store is powered by Shopify. Orders are currently processed through the Oberlo app. Products are found on Ali-Express and Oberlo Supply. We use the Wheelio app to collect customer emails which are used for email campaigns. We currently have 40,000 emails and collect another 200+ daily. We have a reward program for those who wish to join and this program currently has 2,700+ members.

The future owner can implement our marketing strategy to continue to scale up and grow the Instagram. As well as advertising on many of the websites we chose to rarely expand onto...such as Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest. They can also expand on the website’s SEO (search engine optimization), which we only implemented with the majority of the women’s collection. As always, adding new products that are trendy and considered present-day pop culture popular with your target audience can always help boost sales.
What work have you put into the store?
Over the course of the last year, we have continuously worked to improve our store and our social media pages. We have created a system in which we delete products that are not selling well in order to ensure that our collection of products is continually desired and appropriate for our community. We have sorted all products into collections and have divided larger collections down to smaller more defined collections therefore offering very precise store navigation. We have installed and optimized many apps such as Wheelio, Smile.io, Smart Wishlist, as well as many others that improve the store. Along with management of Desire Wear’s website, we have allocated countless hours into finding the perfect content for our social media pages...considering at all times that which would engage our followers and increase our potential to have photos go “viral” and in turn drive our website sales. In addition, we had an app built for Android and iOS platforms that can be released to the market free of charge if the buyer so wishes.
The two of us have developed social media pages that total a combined 4,000,000 followers. This project has gone far beyond our original expectations. We both are interested in pursuing new opportunities and Desire Wear is taking away that ability from us. This is why we are looking to offer our store on the Shopify Exchange.
