Guest Of Honor - Hostess Gifts
My name is Aliaksandra. I have created Guest of Honor following my deep research of the market. I found that there is a high demand for Hostess Gifts among people, yet they have to jump around websites and online stores in search of that perfect gift. I decided to create a store where people can find a broad collection of stylish, unique hostess gifts in one place without having to jump around. As Google Keyword Planner reports, there are 10,000 searches for the word "hostess gifts" a month with Medium competition. It shows that the niche of Hostess Gifts has a lot of potential and is a great one to enter.
The products I am selling on my store are drop shipped from AliExpress. I use Oberlo app to import the products from AliExpress to my Shopify Store.
All the products are divided into collections according to an occasion a person shops for (housewarming, friends gathering etc.). For an easier user navigation around the website, I have created a drop down menu for people to shop gifts by occasion.
I have created a logo and favicon for Guest of Honor using the tools Shopify provided.
I have several apps installed (all of them are free):
-The above mentioned Oberlo to import products from Ali Express -Privy - the e-mail pop-ups encouraging people to sign up to a mailing list and receive 10% off their order in return (there are currently 10 signed-ups on the list with 1 discount already redeemed) - Yotpo - the app that allows customers to leave their reviews of the products. I have modified the code of this app to be able to display stars on the collection page (before a person clicks on the product he/she already sees how many stars this product has. Original version of Yotpo doesn't have this feature) - Happy Customers - a promotion bar that shows how many orders the store has had so far. It is fully modifiable. -Instashop - allows to display your Instagram pictures on the website in the form of slides or grid. - Semantics3 Analytics - provides reports as to how many customers visited the store and what products have been viewed. -SEO Audit Pro - provides analysis of the website for SEO purposes.
I have been running Google Ads campaigns to get the majority of my traffic to the store. The performance of the campaigns are great, with the Click Through Rate of 2.89% and 2.82%.
