GYMRAGS - Microfibre Gym Sweat Towel
GYMRAGS has shipped 500 microfibre gym towels across the UK via the website, Amazon and eBay. These were all towels in stock, not dropshipped. They sell for £8.99 - 9.99 each and cost me $1.54 each (excluding shipping to UK and VAT).
Please note that the towels have now all sold through but supplier details will be included with the sale, along with the original towel design spec for you to place an order. Very helpful supplier. I'd recommend ordering more colour variations for the towels, based on feedback from customers.
There's potential to build the brand with more gym products such as clothing and accessories. That was my original plan when I started GYMRAGS but a new and demanding job made it really hard for me to dedicate the time to this, but I'd love to see someone carry this project on.
60% of my sales were via Amazon (seller fulfilled and FBA), 20% website and 20% eBay. Plenty of positive reviews on Amazon and with me no longer selling them you would have the potential to win the Buy Box on these (I'll include the EAN so you can sell on the Amazon listing).
Social media accounts available but limited following and usage. Ownership of these will still be included in the sale (Facebook, Instagram).
Logo usage and brand name will also be included, which were professionally designed and can be embroidered on the towels.
There is a .com domain in use but it has had a holding page for at least 2 years, so you may be able to contact the owner and purchase this domain.

There's lots of things I wish I'd done but didn't have the time...
More active on social media - increase following, more content, test a few targeted ads Writing more blogs - once per week for SEO and using this content to share on social media Approach local gyms for partnerships or even selling in them Find cheaper ways to ship the towels - they're very light and with the right packaging they can probably be sent as a large letter (UK Royal Mail). This would drastically improve margin. Email marketing - I have a list of 76 contacts to get started with who you can invite back to order again, especially when there's more colour options. Abandon basket - set up mailChimp to chase these people up and rescue the sale
