General description

Online Educational Toy Store based in Cape Town

Our store encourages learning through play, using Montessori equipment sourced locally. Hand-made products, non toxic materials and local design is our jam. The wooden toys are locally designed and made in South Africa, with some items being imported.

I started this store out of a need discovered for educational wooden non toxic (non plastic) toys. I have 2 young children and could not find an online store that supports local moms and dads.

Included in the sale is a sample box of some of the wooden toys which was used to promote some bulk sales to schools and occupational therapist offices.

Social Media accounts included in the sale: Facebook Twitter Instagram

We use drop ship method to deliver fast to online purchases. Bulk orders are similar in business model which allows for fast courier straight from the supplier.

I have put a lot of work in the website, finding the right template which customers responds to, working with teachers and occupational therapist choosing toys that will be useful.

I have done a lot of social media campaigns to promote followers and loyal customers. I have also designed and set up brochures for schools which can be downloaded and changed according to your logo or business strategy (using Canva). I have also contacted Child Magazine to post a feature in their magazine which is distributed across South Africa.

I support local small businesses in South Africa, eco-friendly products.

I am selling this business because I have no time to manage this any longer. We are immigrating to Australia in 2019 and I would like to pass this on to someone local who has the time and skills to take on this business.
