I opened this store just under a year ago in hope that I could escape the 9-5 drag and become self sufficient, being able to work from anywhere and spend more time with the family. It seems unreal that I have managed this as I've been working for others for all of my life and never thought I'd be able to achieve what seemed like a dream. Well, here I am listing my first ever website for sale to help raise capital for a new venture. HunkyMonkey is a UK Companies House, HMRC VAT registered genuine business with all accounts filed professionally and on time by our qualified chartered accountants. Our branded website is a flex store meaning we stock and sell many varieties of products from novelty goods to high tech gadgets. All systems are in place to hit the ground running, most of our traffic is Facebook based but we do email marketing as well as receive some organic sales via SEO. We have an FB social media account and fanpage where we mainly advertise from. This business would be ideal for something who is based outside of the UK/EU so they will not be liable to pay for VAT on sales in the said region. Respective training will be provided and they will be shown the ropes, from start to finish including after sales support until you're comfortable running the business.

3) Why are you selling the business?

Investing in a new venture which is not UK based to reduce overheads and tax liability

4) What would you say are the strengths of this business (vs. other competitors)?

Established, branded company with existing customer base with over 20k subscribers. Excellent FB ads knowledge allowing us to repeatedly and consistently push and sell products, find winners to generate immediate revenue and quickly increase subscribers resulting in more email marketing sales

5) What are your weaknesses?

We have heavily invested in FB marketing and concerntrated 95% of our time and energy into this due to its quick and effective results so our weakness would be not investing in SEO and other social media/marketing channels which would great increase revenue and expand the business.

6) What opportunities of growth do you feel we would work on?

Expanding on the above, definitely SEO and other channels; Creating proper and official social media accounts and invest on those for paid and free advertising. Also approaching and working with bloggers and influencers for referrals and affiliate marketers.

7) Are there any risks or problems you have faced in the past that we should know about?

I am extremely honest and transparent and there is nothing which I consider a risk or problem so to speak. My only advice and concern is the UK VAT which obviously seriously impacts profits which is the main reason for my new venture.

8) Where is your traffic coming from? Do you have google analytics regarding this?

Yes, I have GA linked to the store, I have also attached my FB ads account to give you an idea, the rest of the revenue is generated via mailchimp email marketing as well as some organic sales via Shopify SEO and revisits/loyal returning customers.

9) Do you have a P&L? It would be great to understand the annual profit and monthly expenses in more detail.
