Mug Life is a brand centred around selling cute and funny mugs. We use print on demand and dropship all of our products so you never have to touch any inventory and your orders automatically get processed and fulfilled for you. We have gotten fantastic customer reviews and a happy customers section showing customer photos of the products. The store itself basically runs itself. If you can send traffic to the website and make sales the rest is taken care for you. The great thing about mugs is that you can create a mug in any niche to target so the potential is unlimited. We have fast shipping times, and ship throughout the world.

Why should someone buy this store?

This is the perfect store for you if you are good at marketing and scaling. As I have said all the fulfilment is taking care of and updated automatically so the running of the store is really straight forward. You never have to handle inventory at any time. The store has gotten fantastic reviews, and some with photos included which adds to its social proof. We have an email list of around 2000 people and have received over 2000 orders. The store itself has currently generated over £18,000 worth of sales which is roughly over $24,000 which shows the potential of the store. We also have a good facebook following with nearly 3000 people liking our page on facebook. We have fast shipping times compared to dropshipping from China and people are always surprised at how quick our mugs arrive.

How can the future owner improve the business?

These are how I believe the owner could improve the business:

  1. Create an instagram page and send out mugs to instagram influencers to help increase the brand and generate more sales.
  2. Create more products in different niches. As I have said, the great thing about this business is that you can tap into any niche just by changing the design up.
  3. Send out more broadcast emails to the email list. I have a backend process for abandoned carts however I haven't been sending out that many broadcast emails to the list so this is definitely an area the business could improve on.
  4. Could update the theme, as currently I am just using a free theme from Shopify.
  5. The potential is unlimited, the only limitation is your imagination.
  6. I believe the next step could be creating a mug of the month club and get people who are subscribed to the store to become monthly subscribers.

What work have you put into the store?

I created the store itself, with the branding and the shopify theme design. I also created facebook ads to generate traffic for the store. Apart from that the fulfilment app I use automatically processes and fulfils the orders and ships them out with tracking codes without me having to do a thing. The next owner only has to focus on the marketing side of things.
