General description

I created this store in 2015 because of the passion I have for Internet marketing. I went back to school in 2016, and I used this store as my project for my Master's program. The store used to be known as Best Buy Affordable until 2016 when we changed the name to My Affordable Store. I am having some health challenges, which has made it hard for me to keep up with the day to day running of the store. My Affordable Store was created 2015. We created this store to serve toys for babies, electronics items, out-door and niches as a general store. We currently use Teledynamics, Big Toys, and Orbelo to import products, which we have around 500 products. We also have reseller’s right with Pet USA Inc. and a couple of others. Teledynamics and Big Toys products are sourced in the US while being sourced via Aliexpress and drop shipped therefore no inventory is required. Fulfillment drop shipped and others are automated with the Orberlo app meaning this store can be run with about 30 minutes work per day. We are looking for offers in the region of $7.5k for the time We loved building this store and engaging with the hundreds of fans on Facebook, but it's time that someone new takes on the challenge to scale this business to the next level indeed.

We have in the last 12 months made sales of $$6,592. This store has an excellent potential to scale up for the motivated buyer. The store has multiple winning products that have been tried and tested. Just need a motivated buyer to run. How can the future owner improve the business?

With a little work, the store can quickly generate 10k per month or more within 30 days. This store is just in need of a committed individual to take to the next level We have made this income from Facebook without doing retargeting and lookalike audiences etc. However our Facebook pixel is mature and firing, and with over 100 orders and a subscribers list of 150, lookalike audiences, email marketing and retargeting can be done to take the store to the next level. Instagram, Pinterest, messenger, Google, SEO and email marketing are also other avenues that can be explored to achieve even higher revenue. Not to mention testing and adding more products to find more winning products and winning Facebook campaigns.

What work have you put into the store?

We have a Facebook fan page with over 150 fans with a reasonable level engagement, which will be transferred to the new owner. There is an excellent opportunity to grow this list and to get even higher engagement from the community. We have worked with numerous Aliexpress vendors and built good relationships with them. All the vendors we used are tried and tested and ship out products to our customers quickly within 1 - 3 business days and average shipping times of 13 - 15 business days, meaning we keep our customers happy with low levels of refund and customer service required. We have made more than $6k in revenue with only about $200 in refunds and returns. However, we have run into some fraudster problem which resulted in a couple of chargeback for us in recent time. We have since taken measure to prevent future occurrence. We have made more than 100 sales and built a subscribers list of around 170 people that can be remarketed to via email marketing, and the list can be further grown by doing giveaways and contests. With the numbers of sales and subscribers list, we have warmed up the Facebook pixel from which lookalike and custom audiences can be built. We have also designed the store with a high converting theme that we have taken a lot of time to customize and optimize for sales that will be included.
