This is a Create-A-Book distributor site. The books are personalized to the customer's child, so that their name appears in the story. The sale of this business includes a Brother printer, a high-end book stapler and everything else needed to make these books. We sell 15 titles and have enough supplies (covers, inserts, pages, etc) to make approximately 400 books, which you can sell at $10-$20 CAD each, so lots of starting inventory. You could set up at craft fairs and flea markets to sell these.
It's a turnkey operation. You inherit all the supplies needed to make these books along with the book materials for approximately 400 books. All while paying much less than direct with Create-A-Book to get started.
How can the future owner improve the business?
Set up at craft shows and markets more often. We did 1 large show and did quite well off of it, but I think this business would be perfect for someone that wants to set up and sell at small craft shows. You could make the books right there on the spot.
