Launched store in January 2017 as an experiment to test my own skills and develop my understanding of websites, dropshipping & ecommerce.
30% profit margin on high end luxury beds - £800 - £3000 price range currently, but scope to add other beds, maybe cheaper ones to get more sales?
Current supplier stocks many more bedroom furniture including ones matching the beds which I just haven't got round to doing yet so much more potential!
I will be including the current supplier and my dropship account, with whom I have always maintained a good relationship. They embrace dropshippers and understand the model, knowing not to send beds with their own branding on.
Also included is an Instagram account with 743 followers, Facebook page with 13 likes and Twitter account with 14 followers.
I've put almost £0 into marketing but have had 2 sales to date, one of which is a future order for £1100 which I won't be including, I will deal with this customer separate from the website.
I believe that a buyer who's willing to invest a bit into marketing the site in the right places can turn the store into a money making machine. My 2 sales so far have come through Google search.
