I am trying to sell my store because I no longer have the time to put into making the store top notch. I have recently landed a full time position at a new company that is going to completely consume my life.

I love this store and there is so much room to grow, so this is hard to let go of.

Paradise Water Spas is a drop shipping store that sells hot tubs. Our suppliers are U.S. based and I have direct relationships with people inside my suppliers businesses. We currently carry 3 suppliers and have roughly 50 products on the website, 25 of them being our core products and the other 25 being accessories.

This was my first store so sales are a little skewed because it was a learning process. I was continually optimizing my website trying to figure out what is the best layout to push for sales. I spent a lot of money trying to learn Facebook and google advertising, etc.

There is a huge market online for hot tubs and very little actual suppliers. This makes it a great opportunity to get started within this niche.

Financials and traffic

My monthly average profit is off because I stopped advertising for a few months. The possibility of $1000 - $10,000 profit a month is very obtainable and I believe it can be done very easily if someone had the time and efforts to make this store great. That would easily pay for the price of the store within a few months and then you would be in all profits.

The margins are totally up to you. I tried to be the lowest price point in the market. However there are plenty of merchants that are selling these products at a higher margin.

Business Expenses

As mentioned above my advertising cost is a little skewed because the first half of my advertising expense was used to learn the platforms and test different ways to advertise . I believe someone with medium to advanced advertising experience would be able to pick up from where I left off and really improve the advertising to show extreme gains. I also was running on a very limited budget and had to stop advertising for a month or two.

The hot tub niche has tons of opportunity to succeed in. There are very few competitors compared to other online products and if done right the margins can be amazing.

How can the future owner improve the business?

A way the future owner of the business can improve the business would be to continue to work on SEO content to improve search rankings as well as really dial in a great marketing plan to get cold/warm buyers to convert.

What work have you put into the store?

I essentially created the entire website and got all the content up. Someone could easily buy this website and start a marketing campaign tomorrow and make money! There are remarking audiences that I have created that will help you contact/ reach previous visitors of the website and create lookalike audiences.
