Description

Principled Propaganda is an online merchandise store for libertarians. Our message is rather simple: use Principled Propaganda and win supporters to the liberty movement. Our shirts are high-quality, affordable, represent a movement. Wear Principled Propaganda and join the movement. www.principledpropaganda.com

Why should someone buy this store?

The ideas of liberty is without a doubt spreading. I have several influencers wearing Principled Propaganda such as: Tom Woods, Larken Rose, Chris Spangle, and Hans-Herman Hoppe. As a staunch libertarian that is highly active on social media, I know that there is a market for libertarian apparel- but Principled Propaganda is so much more than that. The problem we are solving is the lack of growth within the liberty movement. I have two video testimonials from famous libertarian author Larken Rose that has been highly successful in getting libertarians to buy into the concept. I was a guest on famous podcast, Battle For Liberty with Mike Tilden and have a picture from him wearing Principled Propaganda as well. I created this site months ago and spent months just learning the market and building relationships. In my first month actively pursuing sales, I net over $1,500. In my second month, my order value more than doubled and I am pacing over $2,000 for the month. I have been in communication with the bookstore manager at The Mises Institute who has agreed to feature my product in his store. The greatest part of having a niche targeting libertarians is that libertarians are incredibly passionate about what they believe in and of course people spend money on things they're passionate about.

How can the future owner improve the business?

Things that I planned on doing in the future to scale:

  1. Get into the Mises online bookstore- the manager has already agreed to run a test on a couple of my designs and I can include his contact information.

  2. Purchase ads on podcasts like The Jason Stapleton Program, The Tom Woods Show, Lions For Liberty, Battle For Liberty, Actual Anarchists, etc.

  3. Produce more content.

  4. Get more influencers like Julie Borowski.

  5. Feature the product at big libertarian events that occur every year:

  6. Contra Cruise

  7. Annual SFL Conference in Washington D.C.

  8. Donate profit to The Mises Institute.

  9. Build a subscription model that is donated to libertarian organizations like The Mises Institute, Antiwar.com, etc.

  10. Increase SEO. I've been working on this and making a ton of progress. Continue working on it and you will without a doubt see enormous growth.

  11. Google advertising

  12. Instagram Advertising

  13. Scale facebook advertising (I've spent very little in advertising).

  14. Create an incentive for posting pictures on social media with #WinSupporters

What work have you put into the store?

Designed all the products myself, reached out to several influencers, built an email list with 190 addresses, generated a facebook following of over 770, produced free libertarian content, built facebook ads, built relationships, got an agreement from The Mises Bookstore manager to test my designs (pending details), ad photos in photoshop, etc.
