When it is time to let go of something it is always a challenge. It is important to remember that a "Decision is cutting off other possibilities", doing so without the story. I was able to create the possibility of learning a business system with this store, from drop shipping to taxes. This was a RPM from Tecademics -a ready made store that I purchased. This 6 to 8 month journey preparing for the store, educating myself about E-commerce my team and I recognized that we were in the wrong niche. We are not passionate about fashion we are passionate about Advocacy.
This store has great potential if you are into fashion, discounts and finding deals.
The business model is simple and easy to follow.
How can the future owner improve the business?
I always say- lead with passion and have a kick ass business model. Focus on one product at a time and pay attention to the numbers- especially is you are placing ads on Facebook.
What work have you put into the store?
Learning the business. Since it was a ready made store- I needed to learn what and why it was ready made. What I needed to focus on and what was already taken care of. If you learn about Shopify via youtube or whatever shopify videos you can get your hands on. Tecademics wasn't that great with getting back to me with my questions about the RPM store- the "hurry up but wait" It is something you have to manage as well when dealing with companies.
How many hours does it take to run this business per week?
