Adaptogens are trending in the US and Taproot Adaptogen Tea is the first tea company to formulate around these amazing herbs. At Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim this year adaptogens were everywhere (see: Adaptogens Arrive https://www.bevnet.com/news/2017/expo-west-2017-adaptogens-arrive ).
I created Taproot to capitalize on this opportunity in the tea space, and I loved creating the concept, design and formulas. Unfortunately I just don’t have the time to follow-through, hit the pavement and sell. I work full time in the herb industry and am also studying for a Master’s in Herbalism. I want to see Taproot Adaptogen Tea get out into the world and I’m hoping you’re the person to do it!
The products have all received very positive feedback (see reviews, repeat purchases) and the packaging has been a big hit as well. I’ve spent very little time on the project lately (0-2 hours/month) and as a result haven’t delved too deeply into advertising or wholesale. I experimented a bit with minimal Adwords and Facebook advertising and I’m happy to share the results.
I do also have a bit of organic traffic every day, due to some SEO work—both the Taproot blog as well as some articles I’ve written elsewhere. I.e.: https://www.elephantjournal.com/2017/03/kava-kava-my-unexpected-aphrodisiac-includes-recipe/

What you get:
Adaptogentea.com is a fully functional and integrated store (Mailchimp, privy, shipping, etc.). I’ll include ~$200 worth of starting inventory and the materials to make more. Please note this is NOT currently co-packed and drop-shipped but wouldn't be hard to set-up. Also included are all the professional graphics, jpg and psd files, financial records, herb supply sources, and anything else you may want. The only operating expense is the Shopify $29/mo.
Taproot is also on the Elephant Market (a market for conscious consumerism): https://market.elephantjournal.com/products/496864a9-88a1-44ec-98cb-b46cdd85d349

The margin on the tea is very good and will get much better as you start buying herbs in higher quantities. I’d be happy to help out during transition and make sure you have everything you need to succeed. Here’s my Linkedin profile for personal reference: https://www.linkedin.com/in/ben-levine-b1313810/
