The Capsule Boutique
My business sells women's clothes.
I put a lot of time into the website. There is also a Facebook page and an Instagram page. @thecapsuleboutique for both.
I think this is a great price for a business that is ready to go. You would pay more for someone to make you a website. And it comes with social media pages/following as well. I have business cards as well.
I used to go to the markets and sell my clothes (I did really well at the markets) and I gave out a lot of business cards for the website and social media pages (to people who bought clothes and people who just had a look).
I also have stock left. If you want to purchase that as well then we can discuss. The photos on the website were taken by a professional photographer and I used professional models.
I am only selling because my partner is unwell and so I don't have the time to give to the business.
I haven't done anything on the business (any social media posts/marketing etc) in a little while. So the traffic for the last few months has been slow. But even though I haven't been doing anything I am still getting traffic to the website.
In the beginning I was focusing on the point of difference being putting together wardrobe capsules. So there is a mix of different clothing items - one for every occasion - and you can mix and match to get maximum outfits. The customer can either buy individual items or buy capsules and get a discount. There is a market out there for this because a lot of women either don't have the time or confidence to develop a cohesive sense of style.
I also chose clothing items to flatter womens' bodies. There is a market of women who aren't supermodels who are desperate for flattering clothes.
If you don't like the capsule idea you could transition it to just a 'normal' clothing store.
I was so passionate about this business. It gave me so much joy to build it and see it grow. I am so sad to have to sell it. I would love for someone else to take over and love it like I did.
