I built it but it took a toll on me.

I've two logo designs, lots of product selected and approvals from a variety of vendors. MailChimp is installed and running an opt-in page. There's a small list which includes buyers. The heavy lifting has been done including registration of the domain for two years. It's ready to go: a virtual turn-key operation.

Why should someone buy this store?

The idea behind the brand was that Ugly is just a state of mind. Oh, sure, that kid last year was ugly, but he's a good kid. Clothes or appliances or our favorite old car from high school got ugly, but we liked and loved them. Well, ugly is only in the eye of the beholder. Anything can be ugly to someone who doesn't understand its value. Presenting items which were either tongue in cheek ugly, Christmas sweaters, or things which are not ugly at all both fit the spirit of why we prefer certain items over others.

There is ample room to work inside the brand for nearly everything can be ugly but good.

How can the future owner improve the business?

The brand can succeed with more time than I have to give. The store can succeed with more resources than I have, both monetary and intellectual. I was behind on knowledge of how things work and that was not good for the store.

What work have you put into the store?

Keep it as it is with a tweak here or there or do a total revamp. Now that the shipping times are too close to Christmas for the Chinese shippers to guarantee arrival, there is room to grow into the next holidays of Valentine's (Oh, what a time for Ugly!) and Easter and Mother's Day.
