Description

Winestoree is an online store owned by Odile Charny under a Limited Liability Company located in Coral Gables, Florida. I started the business in March 2016 but have been working on the website since 2013 while I was in France, at the very start-up phase. Expatriation from France to the US was involved in order to get an E2 visa. As of today, without even using adwords, the site gets over a 1000 of views in just 6 months, mostly by the blog and the products. Visits are also organic (we distributed logo-ed wine glasses in festivals, published ads on Miamian magazines such as Indulge, CBS4News, Palette (LGBT friendly), but Pinterest and Facebook drive visits, and certainly Instagram too.

Why should someone buy this store?

The online store's style is classy, sells accessories for wine lovers and wine themed events. It talks to female wine lovers aged 30 to 50 but 40% of the visitors are male looking for accessories and wine events. Spontaneously customers call to get information until I terminated the US numbers. Part of the inventory is stored in Miami and the other is sold with Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA). The latter are not part of the selling price, but separate.

How can the future owner improve the business?

Like any business it took 1.5 and half to get consistent visits and organic visitors. Ranking is good but certainly there is room to make more improvements in what the SEO and photos is concerned.

What work have you put into the store?

The work put in store is listed as follows: A blog, constant SEO improvements, linking analytics, linking to Pinterest and other social media, constant work on product image. For what the inventory is concerned: the wine posters (varietals, colors and aromas), the linen i.e., kitchen towels and aprons) and supplies (tubes for shipping posters, logo-ed bags and silk paper) are not included in the website's sales price.
