Zee & Friends is an Australian business that sells home decor for kids play areas and bedrooms. Our products include teepees, cushions, play mats, beanbags, dreamcatchers and clothing.

All the furniture has been designed by us and manufactured in Indonesia. Reason for selling is because I have had another baby (making us a family of 5!) and my time for growing a business is not now.

Why should someone buy this store?

This store when running prior to my last baby (until the end of 2016) was growing consistently and had amazing feedback from customers. We have a good relationship with a supplier in China ready to make a new order and also a procurement agent based in Melbourne for quality control and best price on a new order. There is a very strong social media following, with a very high percentage of women aged between 24-44 (90%). We have a great relationship with lots of complimenting brands for collaboration and I would be happy to share and broker these relationships.

How can the future owner improve the business?

A new range and launch. I would be happy to help the future owner ramp back up the social media engagement and share everything I have learned with this business, from what and when to post, the lead time in designing and releasing a range etc, the steps involved etc. Another great avenue for this business would be to wholesale.

What work have you put into the store?

I grew this store from a very small passion project into a reputable brand within 2 years. It was a very easy and manageable business to run, I learned how to put together many marketing campaigns, build relationships, create a positive customer experience and high quality products that are on-trend.
